WILLIAM J. SWEENEY is a partner in the New Britain law firm of Sweeney & Griffen. He is a graduate of Fairfield University and Suffolk University Law School. He has been in private practice since 1975. He is a past president of the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association and a member of the American Board Trial Advocates. In his 37 years of practice, Sweeney has represented individual clients before boards, agencies and courts of Connecticut. He has tried numerous cases to verdict or judgment in both state and federal court. He also has appeared regularly before the Connecticut Supreme and Appellate Courts.
