RICHARD BIEDER, A co-founder of CCJF, has been involved in several nationally significant cases, serving as lead counsel in the Oklahoma City Bombing Federal Tort Claims Act efforts and the L’Ambiance Plaza Building Collapse case. He has won numerous honors and awards, including the Distinguished Service Award from the Association of Trial Lawyers of America and the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association. Bieder graduated from New York University Law School, later serving as a commissioned lieutenant and lawyer in the Judge Advocate General Corps, U.S. Navy. He has worked at Koskoff, Koskoff & Bieder since 1969. He was president of the National Board of Trial Advocacy and the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association, and is currently president of Trial Lawyers Care, a lawyer volunteer organization. He has authored numerous journal articles and has made legal presentations around the world.
