LEWIS CHIMES recently opened his own practice in Stamford after 15 years as a partner in the law firm of Garrison, Levin-Epstein, Chimes, Richardson, & Fitzgerald in New Haven. He represents individuals in employment, civil rights, personal injury, medical malpractice, and criminal defense. He has tried approximately 60 cases to verdict in both state and federal court, and has argued cases in the Connecticut Supreme Court and the United States Second Circuit Court of Appeals. He is co-chairperson of the Employment Law Section of the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association and sits on its Board of Governors. Chimes graduated from Tufts University and Columbia Law School. He also sits on the board of Connecticut Special Olympics, and has been its legal advisor for 15 years.
