KEVIN A. COLES practices primarily in the areas of insurance litigation, personal injury and business litigation, and has focused on insurance defense issues for more than 20 years. He has also frequently represented carriers’ interests in insurance fraud cases. He has undertaken crucial roles in mediation, major complex multiparty litigation; ERISA litigation; declaratory judgment actions; and bad faith actions involving insurance carriers. He was lead defense counsel in the L’Ambiance Plaza Disaster litigation.
Coles received his law degree from the University of Houston in 1974. He is the recipient of the Order of the Barons Award and American Jurisprudence Awards in Torts and Federal Civil Procedure. He is a principal in the law firm of Coles, Baldwin & Kaiser in Fairfield.
