UryFREDERIC S. URY, a board certified civil trial lawyer, is a founding partner of the law firm of Ury & Moskow LLC. For 35 years, he has concentrated his practice in criminal and civil trial practice. He is a past president of the Connecticut Bar Association, and was chairman of its Litigation Secion from 1993 to 1996. He is a frequent lecturer to various bar associations and lawyer groups around the country on professionalism, ethics, and the Future of the Legal Profession. In 2010, he was appointed by the Judicial Branch to the Bar Examining Committee. Ury is chair of the Standing Committee on Professionalism for the American Bar Association, and was most recently was named by ABA President Carolyn Lamm to the Ethics 20/20 Commission.
